TOKYO

The tour moved to the Billboard Live club in Tokyo and what a fantastic venue it is.  It's a new building and the club is on the fourth floor.  The capacity is about three hundred with the viewing area staggered back from the stage over three levels.  The really cool and unusual thing about the club is that there is a glass wall behind the stage that looks out onto the city lights of Tokyo.  The curtains cover the glass wall for the majority of the show but are opened for the encore to great effect. Once again the staff were kind and efficient with many thanks to Laurence, originally from New York and also to Yoko and Sami.  It was very nice also to meet Tatsu and Acky [forgive spellings].
