Both
the Bygum Records website and Facebook page have been inundated with requests
for Gilbert's latest single "Me Mum". In response Gilbert has arranged at short notice to make available a limited number of CD
copies of "Me Mum" from his Bygum Records website. Each
CD will cost £4 when ordered from within the UK (VAT and postage
included). It will cost €5 when ordered from within Europe and interested fans from further afield should contact Marie at
bygumsales@bygumrecords.com
for details. All
UK orders can be by cash or cheque while European orders will have to be in cash
as the charges per cheque to convert into sterling are cost prohibitive.

STUDIOS, CARDIFF
Gilbert teamed up with the Treorchy
Male Choir yesterday at the Acapela Studio just outside Cardiff to record their
part for the Me Mum single. The choir was sequenced and recorded by Rupert Christie.
13 JAN 2013 - BRITISH
GROVE STUDIOS, LONDON
The
backing tracks for three new songs were recorded yesterday at the British
Grove Studios in London. The
songs were If Only We Knew, It's A Shame All The Same and
Gilbert's soon to be released single Me Mum. The orchestra
for Me Mum was arranged and conducted by Laurie Holloway.
